We kicked off the ’22 season of Feats of Fitness last weekend in fantastic fashion! What’s FoF? Three hours of fitness challenges…but other than that phrase, I’m not telling you what to expect. But don’t worry – your CrossFit training has prepared you well for the event!

10 Battles showed up for the unknown. The first hour included a max weight Thruster, and then the Girl WOD “Lynne “- 5 rounds of max reps Bench Press and Pull-Ups. Next up: the Hero WOD “Hansen” – which included a total workload of 150 kettlebell swings, 150 burpees, and 150 sit ups (GHD Sit Ups for the beasts among us).

After that misery, we went to an indoor pool for some swimming workouts: a 50 yd sprint time trial, and then a 25 minute swim/air squat couplet.

Next month is a very special Feats of Fitness: February 13th is the 21st anniversary of LJs amputation, and she’d like to share the day with us! So, we’re programming 3 hours of “adaptive” workouts so that we can get a small taste of the badass “adaptive” divisions in the CrossFit world. You will need a partner! Both of you sign up in wodify as usual and let me know who your partner is! It’s going to be a new and unique experience for all of us!
