September’s first Feats of Fitness was today! Ten Battles showed up to slow through a test of strength, a test of gymnastic stamina, and a test of cardio endurance.

The strength portion: inspired by Coach Mike (4 ish years ago, our favorite coach to love/hate), we did “Iron Mike” – 5 consecutive 10 minute intervals. The first ten minutes: 1 rep max weighted pull-up. Then, 10 minutes for a 1 rep max Snatch, 10 for a max Clean and Jerk, 10 for a max Back Squat, 10 for a max Deadlift. Coach Mike had a goal of doing this @ 100, 200, 300, 400, and 500 lbs for each of those respective movements.

After that, we moved into our test of gymnastics: the CrossFit girl workout “Mary” – twenty minutes of handstand push ups, pistols, and pull-ups.

Finally, we ended the day with a 1 mile Ruck, 150 cal Row, 150 cal Assault Bike.
