CrossFit is a strength and conditioning program – we base our programming on several goals: safety, effectiveness, and efficiency. The bottom line: you want to get in shape, and we have the safest and best way to do so. Every class is led by an experienced and certified coach, who will ensure that your movement is mechanically correct and that you are working towards your fitness goals.
We use the term “scalability”: essentially, our prescription is suitable to individuals of every athletic ability and background. Our athletes have ranged in age from 3 to 82 and every shape and size. It truly is for everyone! The hardest part is coming through the door for your first workout.
Our program is designed for scalability and applies equally well to all individuals regardless of age or fitness level. By varying the load and intensity, we start you at a level appropriate to your fitness and experience. With commitment and hard work you will achieve greater general fitness and a high degree of athleticism. We take an old-school approach emphasizing fundamental, functional movements with proper technique. You will learn and get fit with ever-changing workouts that combine bodyweight exercises, weightlifting, and a huge variety of high-intensity drills that combine cardio and strength challenges at the appropriate level for each person. The stimulus provided is always varied and the results are dramatic. The atmosphere is one of support and camaraderie to anyone willing to put in the work.
EXPERIENCED CROSSFITTER / VISITOR DROP-IN
If you have been training at another CrossFit box for 3 months or more prior to coming to us then we would invite you to join a regular class. For those of you with less than 3 months experience we would like you to attend a FREE intro session so we can assess your skill level and make sure you are ready for the group program.
