Getting Started is a 3 Step Process: Intro, On-Ramp, Regular Classes.

Step 1: Intro. Once you’ve decided you want to get into the best shape of your life and be a part of a community of like-minded people, it’s time to book a Student Consultation/Intro to CrossFit. Come in to get a free class and assessment of your fitness, and see if Battle CrossFit is a good fit for you and your goals.

Step 2: On-Ramp. All new members must go through our On Ramp program. Throughout the program, we will teach you the skills and movements necessary to become a successful member of Battle CrossFit. Each session will include a comprehensive warm-up, instruction in various movements, a workout, and a cool-down. Additionally, we will explain the principles which make CrossFit so effective and show you how to maximize your time at Battle CrossFit. Our On-Ramp is always 1 on 1 with an experienced and certified personal trainer.

CrossFit is unique. We look significantly different than group aerobics or group bodypump, or a bootcamp or any other group exercise class. You will eventually have the option to graduate to CrossFit group classes; however, before that we need to ensure that you are both competent in the CrossFit movements and fit enough to safely join group classes.

The goal of our On-Ramp is to get you physically prepared and knowledgeable enough to join our regular classes. The typical On-Ramp is 15 personal training sessions, though can be more or less based on your individual needs. You will become familiar with the CrossFit movements (30-40 movements): things like Olympic weightlifting, power lifting, gymnastics and rowing. You will also learn about mobility, injury prevention and nutrition.

The purpose of doing personal training prior to group classes is three-fold:
First, CrossFit is incredibly technical – it’s like learning an entirely new sport – so the same way you wouldn’t throw someone off the street onto the Varsity swimming team, we don’t throw people who have never done clean and jerks and snatches and pull ups and rope climbs right into our group classes. Instead, we take the time to properly teach you the movements so you’re confident and safe in your abilities by the time you begin group classes.

Second, one-on-one personal training allows us to address your individual needs, deficiencies, weaknesses and injuries. Everybody needs to work at a different pace, and we want to keep you injury-free to increase your longevity.

Third, we believe relationships with the people around you are going to enrich your life, and your relationship with your coach is no exception. We want to get to know you, your fitness goals, what’s going on in your life, and what you need from us to help you succeed.

The cost of your On-Ramp is $40 per session. The typical athlete requires ten to fifteen sessions before they are ready to graduate to our Regular Classes.

Step 3: Regular Classes. Upon graduating from our On-Ramp program, you will then have the option of joining our Regular Classes, or continuing in one-on-one sessions with your coach. Our Regular Classes occur 6 or 7 times each day (depending on the day), are always led by a coach, and cover a broad range of gymnastics, cardio, and weightlifting movements.

We offer the following membership options for our Regular Classes:
